This Journey Will End…Some Day

This journey will end some day

The contract has already been written

My Lord sends signs to remind me

Through his Angel

The Angel knocks at my door

And I ignore

He knocks some more

I continue to ignore

I can plead for another chance

To right my wrongs

But it will be no use

I can try to cling onto this life

But it will be like clasping my hands to water

The Angel will insert the key into my body

And release my soul

I pray it leaves in a fit state

This is just the beginning of the journey

Not the end
